he qualified candidate will assist in administering all programs, activities, and responsibilities of the City Administration Office which include but not limited to:
Greet and aid the public in a friendly, business-like manner.
Perform general secretarial and office duties as required.
Maintain general office files, typing material from copy, record incoming and outgoing correspondence.
Answer and return phone calls and keep appointment records.
Open, sort, and distribute mail for all City Departments.
Covers City Administration’s office for lunch periods and for absences of City Clerk during illness, vacations, etc.
In absence of City Clerk, attends City Council meetings, prepares agendas, and records and transcribes minutes.
Attend meetings, seminars and training as required.
Assist with community events planning, preparation, and execution.
Maintain an excellent personal attendance record.
Maintain records management system in accordance with the PA Municipal Records Manual.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of all sensitive records and proceedings.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
